Snowflake Promotes Oxman to Western District Manager for SLED

Snowflake, which specializes in “built for the cloud” data warehousing, has announced an appointment and promotion.

Snowflake has promoted Zachary Oxman from Sales Manager for Public Sector/West to District Manager for SLED West, covering all 16 Western states (excluding Texas).

Oxman describes himself in his LinkedIn profile as a “technology translator, adept at bridging the gap between business needs and IT requirements” and as a “change agent, experienced in guiding organizations through business transformations. and digital”. He cites his extensive experience dealing with the state legislature, bringing complex technology goals, topics and agendas to Senate and Assembly members and their staffs.

Prior to joining Snowflake, Oxman most recently worked at AppDynamics, first as Regional Sales Manager for California and Enterprise, then for SLED West, encompassing California, Washington, Arizona, Hawaii and Idaho.

Oxman holds a bachelor’s degree in business economics from UC Riverside and lives with his family in Folsom.

Overseeing Snowflake’s nationwide government sales is new public sector vice president Ted Girard, an industry veteran who recently served in the same role at Okta. Girard, based in the Washington, D.C. area, has been in technology sales and sales management since 1996. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Hobart and William Smith colleges, and his MBA from the Carey Business School of Johns Hopkins University.
