Pinnacle Hires District Manager for AR, TX Self-Storage Properties

Pinnacle Storage Properties, a Houston-based company that operates 21 self-storage facilities under various names, has hired David Allen as district manager for its Arkansas and Texas locations. He will oversee due diligence, revenue management, marketing, quality assurance and budgeting, among other operational duties. He will also be responsible for hiring and training new employees for facilities in his territory, according to a press release.

Previously, Allen spent 16 years as an area director with self-storage real estate investment trust Life Storage Inc., where he oversaw properties in Texas. He has experience in acquisitions and new developments as well as facility expansions and renovations. “I am happy to join such a respected organization,” Allen said. “I am thrilled to be a resource to support and promote the development of team members in an environment that advances individual and company successes.”

Allen also has experience working in retail. He was District Manager for Star Concessions and the Dallas Cowboy Pro Shops at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Arkansas.

Pinnacle is a private real estate owner/operator focused on the acquisition, development and management of self-storage assets. Its investment strategy is to buy under-leveraged properties in the suburban and secondary markets. Its portfolio includes approximately 1.2 million leasable square feet.
