Paul Wigand named regional director of Kroger

Paul Wigand has been promoted to district manager in Kroger’s Mid-Atlantic division.

krogerWigand will oversee 17 stores in Virginia’s Blue Ridge area, including Lynchburg, Appomattox, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Staunton, Waynesboro, Lexington, Clifton Forge, Rocky Mount/Smith Mountain Lake and Martinsville.

A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Wigand comes from the Michigan division of Kroger, where he was responsible for asset protection. He joined Kroger in 1999 as an intern. After completing the Management Development Program, Wigand held the positions of Co-Manager, Associate Manager, Store Manager and Operations Coordinator.

Wigand graduated from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
