Alejandro Halegua (Tangier, 1973) was appointed the new District Director of BBVA in Alicante, replacing Jaime Rubio, who became the Risk Director of the Eastern Regional Directorate of BBVA. Alejandro Hallegua was until now Director of the Region of Murcia at BBVA, a position he joined at the start of the year. Alejandro Hallegua graduated in economics from the University of Alicante and specializes in quantitative analysis. He holds an MBA from the University of Leicester, UK, in Strategic Business Analysis. He has been associated with the entity for over 24 years. He joined BBVA in 1997 as a business manager and acquired new skills there which led him to occupy various positions of responsibility in five different independent communities.
Alejandro Hallegua is married and has two children.

Pedro Ramirez, new director of the Contigo BBVA District for the Valencian Community
Pedro Ramirez Villanueva (Toledo, 1970) has been appointed new director of Zona Contigo at BBVA. A newly created 100% remote business unit which will be the main lever for transforming the customer relationship model at BBVA.
The new Contigo area will cover BBVA’s digital customers in the community of Valencia, Murcia and the Balearic Islands. Pedro Ramirez was until now director of the northern region of Castellón Valencia, a position he joined in January 2021
Pedro Ramirez holds a degree in Economics and Business from the Universidad de Castilla la Mancha, with a specialization in Finance and a Masters in Auditing. He has been associated with BBVA for over 24 years. He joined the entity in 1997 as a cashier and acquired new skills which led him to occupy various positions of responsibility in five different regions. Pedro Ramirez is married and has four children.
