Gurugram gets new district planner

The Haryana government on Saturday carried out a large-scale reshuffle of the Directorate of Land Use Planning (DTCP). Several District Planners (DTPs) were moved across the state, while Gurugram got a new planners.

In accordance with government decree, Sanjay Kumar, currently DTP (headquarters), was appointed DTP (planning), Gurugram. RS Bhath, the current DTP of Gurugram has been appointed DTP of Nuh and in charge of the execution wing in Gurugram.

Sanjeev Mann, Senior City Planner, MCG, has been appointed Senior City Planner at DTCP, on a vacant post.

Renuka Singh was appointed DTP, Faridabad, while the incumbent Rajender T Sharma had been appointed DTP (execution) in Faridabad itself. Devender Pal was named DTP, Rewari, while Munish Yadav, DTP, Palwal was named DTP, GMDA. Mohan Singh was named DTP, Jhajjar, while Ved Prakash, DTP (execution), Gurugram, was named DTP, Sirsa.

Bhath, when asked about the transfer, said he worked quite long as DTP (planning), Gurugram, and made an effort to serve the people of the city. “In the enforcement wing, I will try to stop the development of unauthorized settlements that I have been working for a year,” he said.
